Types of FSSAI License

- Central License: Large businesses (turnover > ₹20 crore) or importers
FSSAI License Number Structure
14-digit number structure: 1st digit (1/2 for registration/license), next 2 digits (state code), next 2 (year of enrollment), next 3 (registration authority), next 6 (permit number), last 1 (license type).
